Por que a N95 (ou PFF2) é a máscara mais eficiente

Com o avanço da pandemia e o aparecimento de variantes do vírus, esse modelo é o mais recomendado

Tradicionalmente usadas por profissionais de saúde e da construção civil, essas máscaras são fáceis de achar

Apesar das duas nomenclaturas, trata-se da mesma máscara. PFF2 é a designação adotada no Brasil. Nos Estados Unidos, denomina-se N95

As novas variantes do Sars-CoV-2 são mais transmissíveis. Por isso, para que uma infecção aconteça, é necessária menor quantidade do vírus

Máscaras com maior proteção, como a N95/PFF2, conseguem evitar que o vírus passe de uma pessoa para outra

Bem ajustado e cobrindo nariz e boca, o equipamento tem capacidade de filtrar 95% de gotículas

O item apresenta eficácia garantida durante oito horas seguidas e pode ser reutilizado, caso fique "descansando" por no mínimo três dias, em um local sem luz solar direta

Nunca molhe ou borrife álcool no item de proteção pessoal. Quando molhada, a máscara perde o poder de filtração
