Um dos grandes atores da dramaturgia brasileira, Tarcísio Meira morreu, nesta quinta-feira (12/8), aos 85 anos, vítima de complicações da Covid-19

O ator estava internado desde o dia 6 de agosto, quando precisou ser intubado.
Apesar do tratamento, não resistiu

Considerado "eterno galã", Tarcísio é dono de uma carreira renomada e com diversos papéis marcantes na TV brasileira. Relembre!

Ao lado da mulher, Glória Menezes, foi protagonista da primeira telenovela diária do país, 2-5499 — Ocupado, na TV Excelsior, em 1963

Anos depois, em 1970, Tarcísio fez um de seus papéis mais marcantes: João, na trama de Irmãos Coragem, já como ator da Globo

Na década seguinte, o ator deu vida a dois de seus personagens mais famosos: Capitão Rodrigo, em
O Tempo e O Vento (1985), e Renato Villar, na novela Roda de Fogo (1986)

Também se destacou como: Raul Pelegrini, de Pátria Minha (1994); Giuseppe Berdinazzi, de O Rei do Gado (1996); João Medeiros, de Um Anjo Caiu do Céu (2000); e Bóris, de O Beijo do Vampiro (2002)

Em seu último papel na televisão, Tarcísio Meira deu vida ao
Lorde Williamson, na trama de Orgulho & Paixão (2018)

O ator e a esposa não tiveram seus contratos renovados em 2020 e deixaram a Globo após 53 anos de trabalhos na emissora
