A nutricionista Bonni London explicou, em entrevista a uma revista americana, que um dos riscos de contar apenas com o equipamento para preparar as refeições é ficar sem “algumas gorduras saudáveis encontradas em óleos de alta qualidade que são necessárias para a nossa saúde”
Segundo a especialista, ignorar esses óleos completamente pode ser prejudicial ao organismo

Tipo de óleo
A profissional recomenda o uso de pequenas quantidades de gorduras de origem animal, ou óleo de amendoim ou coco, se você for vegetariano
Devo usar azeite?
Você até pode recorrer ao azeite de oliva, que é rico em antioxidantes, mas apenas em temperaturas até 210°C. Mais do que isso, ele entra em ponto de ebulição, tornando-se desvantajoso
Frangos e carnes
“Cozinhar em temperaturas superaltas, como a fritadeira faz, decompõe os compostos de gordura dos alimentos”, explica London. “O que acontece com produtos de origem animal é que você deve cozinhá-los em temperatura baixa”, recomenda a coach alimentar
Vegetais
Diferentemente das carnes, eles podem ir em temperaturas mais altas. Ainda assim, é bom não se “viciar” em prepará-los apenas na fritadeira. O cozimento tradicional ao vapor segue como a alternativa mais sugerida pela especialista
Batata frita do bem?
“Para alguém que realmente deseja batatas fritas, sabemos que fritar no ar pode ser o menor de dois males”, avalia a nutricionista. “É certamente mais saudável do que a opção de fast food – porém, com moderação”
