Palabéns, Cebolinha!! O icônico personagem que troca o "érre" pelo "éle" completa 60 anos neste 24 de outubro de 2020.

Inicialmente, Cebolinha era um personagem secundário das tirinhas Bidu e Franjinha. Ele ganhou espaço e virou um dos protagonistas da Turma da Mônica

Mas como definir o Cebolinha? Ele é um garoto de sete anos, que fala "elado", tem cinco fios de cabelo espetados, usa camisa verde, shorts preto e sapatos

Além das características físicas, o personagem tem como marca principal a rivalidade com Mônica. Por isso, sempre bola planos infáliveis para roubar o coelho Sansão e virar o "dono da lua" no Bairro do Limoeiro

Cebolinha é inspirado em um amigo de infância de Maurício de Sousa, o Luiz Carlos da Cruz, de Mogi das Cruzes, em São Paulo. Ele era próximo de Marcio, irmão mais novo do desenhista. O menino trocava as letras e tinha pouco cabelo!

A banda de rock preferida do Cebolinha, segundo consta nos gibis, é o grupo Legião Suburbuna, uma paródia da brasiliense Legião Urbana

Na versão Turma da Mônica Jovem, que tem desenhos em mangá, Cebolinha virou Cebola. E, depois de tantas pirraças, acabou namorando Mônica

A primeira edição "solo" de Cebolinha foi publicada em janeiro de 1973, pela Editora Abril
